forward through the efforts of committees and councils in various
industry segments. Tapping into the brightest minds in the industry.
groups work together to develop solutions that improve the ecosystem
for everyone. Committees are formed around interest in a particular
platform or technology, and include members. Councils with roles across
the ecosystem, are formed around a functionality, and members involved
have that function in their primary role. Committee and Council
participation is open to any eligible staff at an IAB member company.
IAB SA Head of Brand Council:

The Brand Council is a newly re-constituted council, whose goals and objectives previously came under the umbrella of the Marketing Council. It focuses on assessing and addressing the requirements of IAB Marketer members, to bring value to them and to the wider digital industry at large.
Head of Agency Council:

The aim of the Agency Council is to uplift industry
standards and education through thought leadership and best practice, and to build
a network of participation and trust between all members and industry
IAB SA Head of Regulatory Affairs Council:
Elizabeth de Stadler, CEO of Novation Consulting
Elizabeth de Stadler specialises in media law, data privacy
law, plain language drafting and designing and delivering training. She is an
attorney, but not a suit and prides herself on bringing a fresh perspective to
Head of Publisher Council:
Marc du Plessis, Joint CEO, Spark Media
Council represents the IAB publisher members and comprises members with
journalism and editorial background, as well as commercial. It works closely with the Press Council on
important legislation and is actively involved in addressing a number of
IAB SA Pillar Lead for Transformation Council and Education Council:
Dr. Monamodi is a Non-Executive Director of a number of companies, and also serves as Chairman of the Board in four (4) of these companies, including: Y&R, Mindshare, Volcano Advertising and Native VML.
